The children's ministry has long been an important part of Redeemer Hudson. Each week, we invite those ages 2-11 to worship God in an age-appropriate way.
During the sermon, the children come together in their classroom to explore the same scripture the adults are hearing—through song, story, activities and prayer. They are given the time and space to wonder about our Creator, as well as to learn more about what it means to follow Jesus. After the sermon, they'll join the congregation for communion and remainder of the service.
The arts play an especially important role at Redeemer Hudson. Twice a year, children and adults alike participate in art stations after the service, where they have the chance to reflect on the Easter and Christmas seasons through drawing, painting, sculpture and collage, The children also lead the congregation in celebrations as we remember these important moments in Jesus's life.
We also offer childcare for those under the age of two. Every child is an important member of our church, and we do our best to make sure they all know that Jesus loves them, and that they are a blessing to us.
